The only wine made with botrytized grapes this vintage is the 2017 Graacher Domprobst Riesling Auslese Gold Capsule (AP #15, Auction). The nose shows rich, ripe and concentrated fruit that leads to a rich, textured, sweet and salty-piquant Auslese with remarkable finesse and very fine honey flavors. This is a creamy, refined and wonderfully salty Domprobst from a single plot (Nikolauslay). Delicious. Tasted in March 2019.
