Good medium red. Wild red fruit aromas lifted by a meaty nuance. A step up in texture and fullness from the Fontenys, but without any impression of heaviness. Silky and spicy but kept taut by nicely integrated acidity. Finishes broad and horizontal, with a restrained sweetness and high notes of mint and fresh herbs.
