This 2004 vintage comes from various parcels in Meursault and the winemaking approach follows traditional practices, with extended lees contact and aging in barrels for 15-22 months. The 2004 vintage is renowned for its complexity and allure, making it a collector's dream.

We have sourced them from some of our clients' private cellars, our friends in Europe, direct from the domaine or through our other trusted networks. On each product you will note an estimated time of arrival. Understand that these are only estimates, and to ensure that your wine arrives safely it may be longer. Utilizing this method allows us to offer some amazing wines and gives you the opportunity to secure them earlier. Upon arrival at TWC you will receive a notification and we will ship the wines to you.

After a splendid bottle last year, this 2004 Meursault from Domaine Coche-Dury did not hit the same stellar heights. It just did not show quite the same ethereal level of precision and focus as the previous example, perhaps more backward and reticent than I was expecting. It takes time but eventually that gunflint aroma begins to emerge and you start thinking about Coche-Dury. The palate is vibrant and captivating, very well defined with supremely well judged acidity, vibrant citrus lemon and mineral notes with a long finish. It is still a fabulous Meursault, but a point less than last time.

(from Narvaux; cuvee destined for the U.S. market) Very ripe aromas of candied lemon peel and nectarine. Fat, sweet and ripe, offering considerable early appeal. Very Meursault in character, from redder soil.
