How Pre-Arrival Works

These wines are currently on the way to Thatcher’s Wine. We have sourced them from some of our clients' private cellars, our friends in Europe, direct from the domaine or through our other trusted networks. On each product you will note an estimated time of arrival. Understand that these are only estimates, and to ensure that your wine arrives safely it may be longer. Utilizing this method allows us to offer some amazing wines and gives you the opportunity to secure them earlier. Upon arrival at TWC you will receive a notification and we will ship the wines to you.

Still a bit reductive but bright on the nose, the 2020 Hallgarten Riesling Réserve is from the Jungfer yet not the GG parcel and fermented until February this year. Aged in a 3,000-liter oak vat and bottled in April this year, the nose shows a pure and refined but complex bouquet of fine Riesling fruits and quartzite but with an uplifting Hallgarten twist with notes of oat milk, gravel, sand and iodine. Lush and enormously vital and salty on the palate, this is a complex and dense but playful and tickling Riesling with depth and stimulating features. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in April 2022.
