The spiciness and notes of mushrooms are quite clear in the 2022 Ollos de Roque, the last vintage when he used amphorae and barrels (in 2023, he discarded the amphorae). The varietal breakdown is approximately 50% Agudello, 30% Treixadura and 20% Lado; this is also the last vintage that will have Treixadura. It's balanced, expressive and clean, spicy, tasty and salty, vibrant and with great precision. It transported me to the character of some wines from Jura.
