V.O. is a blend of parcels on the upper slopes of Avize, and blended with reserve wines from the 2013-2015 vintages. The V.O. exudes an intoxicatingly fragrant bouquet, featuring complex notes of red apples, crème brûlée, caramel, dried apricots, bread dough, bread crust, biscuit, and dried peaches. This captivating aroma leads to a savory, enduring finish that lingers on the palate.

(2 g/l dosage; disgorged on October 22, 2013): Vivid yellow. Deeply pitched nectarine, poached pear and buttered toast aromas are brightened by dusty minerals and lemon pith.  Deep, expansive orchard and pit fruit flavors show a hint of toffee and are lifted and sharpened by suggestions of white pepper and bitter quinine.  Distinctly rich but quite lively as well, finishing very long, with firm stony grip and lingering spiciness.
