From parcels in Cramant, Chouilly and Oiry, the NV Extra-Brut Téthys . 17 was disgorged in October 2020 with 2.5 grams per liter dosage. Bursting with aromas of golden orchard fruit, toasted nuts and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and pillowy, with lively acids and a sapid finish. This cuvée, its name reflecting the maritime origins of Champagne's bedrock, incorporates the fruit of the domaine's younger vines as well as the tailles from their older holdings, and what's more it goes through malolactic fermentation—all of which means that it's the most charming, open-knit wine in the range.
