The Wine Advocate

Wine Advocate

91

From a field blend planted in 1923 that has been partly replanted 30 years later, the 2011 Le Jardin de la Grosse Pierre Grand Cru (disgorged in October 2015 without dosage) offers an intense, spicy-flavored Pinot bouquet that leads to a pure, fresh and very delicately textured. It has a long and firmly structured finish. This wine has grip and character, and is pretty dry in the finish. It should be lovely with food or after a great meal.
