The 2023 Les Amoreuses comes from two clay-chalk sites in the village of Bué. They are picked at the same time, pressed together and then vinified in foudres. The result has lovely concentration, a real sense of flesh and focus on the midpalate. The fleshiness comes from clay and its fine tension is from the chalk. Silken in texture and seamless, this has clearly been harvested by hand and handled delicately.
