Rosy florals and hints of autumnal spice give way to crushed wild strawberries and lavender as the 2022 Etna Rosso Vinupetra blossoms in the glass. It opens with a balanced inner sweetness, casting inner violet tones across the palate atop a core of citrus-laced blackberries. Juicy acidity maintains fantastic energy as the 2022 tapers off long and gently tannic, leaving a tinge of licorice on the finish. Fantastic.
