I had an unbottled sample of the 2022 Les Grands Teppes Pinot Noir, a red produced from Les Grands Teppes terroir since 2018. It was made with the grapes from a small plot planted ungrafted in 2006 on Trias marl soils. They only got 1,100 liters that are aged in small barrels and will be bottled exclusively in magnums. The wine is perfumed and floral, with lots of violets and herbs, elegant and with balance and finesse.
