The new 2022 Les Chalasses Vieilles Vignes Rouge was produced with Poulsard and 30% Enfariné Noir, a traditional grape in Jura that was previously used to give acidity to Vin de Paille, almost extinct now, fermented together. The wine is pale and delicate, with notes of wild strawberries and watermelon and very fine tannins.
