Bottled in February 2024, this wine draws its fruit from young vines in Ravera and Bussia (mostly planted in 2019 but with some vines that date back to the 1990s). All that fruit is blended together and aged in botti for 18 months to make the fruit-forward 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo. The wine shows some tarry spice from the very hot and dry vintage, with sweet flavors and mild tannins.

The 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo is super-classy right out of the gate. Rose petal, orange peel, mint, dried herbs all grace the palate. This is a very pretty wine, especially considering the challenges of the year and the presence of a fair amount of young vine fruit from Bussia in the blend (which also includes older vines in Ravera).
