The 2022 Volnay 1er Cru Mitans is rich and layered, exhibiting aromas of cherries, sweet spices, orange zest and peony. Medium to full-bodied, deep and enveloping, it's built around sweet, powdery tannins.

The 2022 Volnay Les Mitans 1er Cru has a pretty, quite effervescent nose with Morello cherries, wild strawberry and wilted rose petal scents, delicate but with plenty of energy. The medium-bodied palate has fine-grain tannins, very harmonious and silky smooth, with a lacy structure on the finish. This is going to be VERY tempting in its youth.
