The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets is terrific, mingling scents of pear and confit citrus with hints of spices and wheat toast, framed by a deft touch of old-school reduction. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's rich and structured, with chalky extract and a long, saline finish.

The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Caillerets 1er Cru has a precise nose, yellow fruit, beeswax and light frangipane scents unfurling in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with fine acidity, modest depth, quite linear towards the finish, and it needs to show me a little more energy on the finish.
