The 2020 Lorcher Schlossberg Riesling offers a deep, intense and ripe yet elegant, pure and finely slatey as well as iodine bouquet of crushed stones and stewed yellow fruits. On the palate, this is a crystalline, refined and elegant yet tensioned and persistently salty Riesling from the Schlossberg. It needs some years to fully integrate the residual sugar of 23 grams per liter. The wine has fine tannin structure and good, tensioned length. 11.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted from AP 8 21 in November 2021.
