From a parcel located adjacent to the Aligoté plot that bears the same name, the 2020 Bourgogne Rouge En Gerlieus is a serious old-vine cuvée, unfurling in the glass with scents of plums and wild berries. Medium to full-bodied, firm and tangy, with youthfully chewy tannins and bright acids but lovely purity of fruit, this should round out very well. It was vinified with some 25% whole cluster.
