The 2020 Savigny-lès-Beaune les Peuillets 1er Cru is 50% de-stemmed and has a very delineated, perfumed, quite floral bouquet with peony and violet scents gently unfolding in the glass, black plum and cranberry fruit. The palate is full of energy and tension, razor-sharp acidity, the stems lending freshness and a welcome very slight green note on the sapid finish. This comes highly recommended.
