The purity and clarity of the 2020 Pouilly Fumé Belle Endormie is astonishing, especially as this is the first vintage. It is seductive, charming and yet has a delightful tension probably from the chalky soils and the fine line of acidity, which acts as an electric current running through the wine. The delicate, pretty, florals and peach flavors are highly attractive. If you wish to commit yourself early to the wine, a decanter would be advised. Or wait a year or two to approach it.
