The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru has a crisp, precise, gunflint-tinged bouquet that is beautifully defined and focused. The palate is very well balanced with a wonderful line of acidity. The judicious new oak (under 20%) just lends a little weight toward the finish. This is all about the tension and energy. A ridiculously good Les Referts from Domaine Bachelet-Monnot.
