The 2019 Sous la Roche is pure Savagnin from the vines right next to the winery in the outskirts of Rotalier in the lieu-dit that names the wine. It is varietal and has a serious nose, not too showy. A solid Savagnin.

The alluring 2019 Côtes du Jura Sous la Roche is game-on. Prominent notes of saffron, dried flowers, baked apple, lemon peel and jasmine are all pushed forward. Time in the glass even brings out white peach and apricot nuances. Packed with flavor concentration and tension, the 2019 fades out with a slice of tangerine peel on the complex finish.
