The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Sous le Puits 1er Cru has a detailed bouquet with yellow flowers (buttercup and dandelion) complementing the citrus fruit and crushed rock scents. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, saline and lightly spiced with a precise finish that just needs a tad more length. I noticed that this did improve in the glass, so it deserves 3-4 years in bottle or a good decant. Maybe both.
