The 2019 Beaune Les Epenottes 1er Cru has a complex bouquet of earthy red berry fruit and touches of iron ore. Good definition. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly lactic entry, a smooth texture and a hint of dark chocolate on the finish, which feels a little exotic at the moment.
