The 2018 Chablis Fourchaume La Pièce au Comte 1er Cru has a beautiful nose of white peach, pressed white flowers, hints of nectarine and yellow plum, subtle but supremely focused. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. A touch of ginger lingers in the background. Very harmonious, delivering just the right amount of salinity toward the finish. Superb.
