The 2018 Saint-Aubin Les Murgers des Dents de Chien 1er Cru has one of the most reserved and austere aromatics among Bachelet’s Premier Crus. It is razor-sharp and well defined, yet reluctant to show its mineralité at this prenatal stage. The palate is very well balanced with a crisp line of acidity, notes of orange zest and hazelnut segueing into a spicy finish that feels very persistent. This has great potential once in bottle.
