Predominantly sourced from Mauves, Tournon, and St. Jean de Muzols, the more powerful sites that make up the blend, and all owned by Chave. The Northern sites are farmed by Chave, in and around Serrières. About half of the grapes are de-stemmed and fermented in stainless and tonneaux. The aging will be about 18 months in neutral barrique and foudre.

Dark ruby. Aromas of ripe, smoke-tinged red and blue fruits, pungent flowers, allspice and licorice on the nose. Shows very good depth as well as vivacity to its appealingly sweet cherry and blueberry flavors, which tighten up and become spicier with air. A core of juicy acidity adds support and lends energy to a long, spicy finish that echoes the blue fruit note.
