The 2018 La Romanée Grand Cru has a very detailed, complex bouquet of copious black cherry, blueberry and raspberry preserve aromas that burst from the glass, seamlessly integrated with the new oak. This is a multidimensional bouquet (as usual). The palate is medium-bodied, with supple tannins rendering this a very pliant La Romanée. Extremely focused with a silky texture and a vibrant, sorbet-fresh, persistent finish that lingers in the mouth.
