A Parisian who had no ties to the wine world, Caroline caught the bug and instead of merely stocking her cellar full, she set out to buy one - a vineyard and a cellar, that is. Denied access to the inner circle of Burgundy's most hallowed grounds, she found a home in Maranges, the southernmost village in the Cote de Beaune. Historically home to very rustic, powerful wines, Caroline has proven to have a deft touch, creating beautiful wines of finesse and silky texture.
