Though in the same family's hands for half a millennium, since 1994 the Naudin-Ferrand Domaine is perhaps in its most capable in the form of Claire Naudin. Though she bottles under several different labels, her ethos is the same, relying on strong, sustainable viticulture - and the wines reflect it in their grace and energy. BiNaume came to be in 2016 as a project between Claire and her husband, Jean-Yves Bizot.

BiNaume (Naudin-Ferrand)

BiNaume is a shared venture with her husband, Jean-Yves Bizot that was a result of seeking to augment their meager 2016 crop. Wines of Gamay and Pinot Noir are harvested from Saint-Pourçain (west of Beaune) and vinified at the Naudin winery. Grapes are fermented whole-cluster and the extraction very light, the resulting wines uplifting and delicious.
