Matured half in tank and half in barrel, Arnaud's debut 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Vau De Vey opens in the glass with notes of citrus zest, fresh pastry, verbena, iodine and oyster shell. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and chiseled, it's racy and concentrated, concluding with a long, saline finish. This possesses plenty of substance to develop with further bottle age.
