The Wine Advocate

Wine Advocate

90-92

Aromas of smoky green orchard fruit and ripe citrus fruits introduce the 2017 Beaune 1er Cru Les Aigrots Blanc, a medium to full-bodied, layered and incisive wine with good cut and flesh. Pretty and flavorful, this will offer a broad drinking window.

Vinous

Vinous

91-93

The 2017 Beaune Clos des Aigrots 1er Cru Blanc, located just after Clos des Mouches, already has quite a strict and chalky bouquet that opens discretely in the glass. The palate is beautifully balanced, a little fatter than Lafarge’s Meursault, with hints of tropical fruit (guava and passion fruit) that lift this white Beaune into something so irresistible and pleasurable. Gorgeous!
