The 2017 Beaune Pertuisots 1er Cru is slightly high-toned on a nose of raspberry coulis, crushed strawberry and rose petals, all lifted and generous. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, and rounded and plump for the vintage, while maintaining ample weight on the finish, which displays a touch of oxidation. I just find this a little on the light side. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2017 tasting.
