With history dating back over 150 years, the Bereche name is at its apex today, thanks to the two brothers in charge of the estate. From the front to back of their range, each wine is chalk (pardon the pun)-full of personality and class, with great finesse lining the palates of those drinking everything from the classic Brut Reserve all the way to their very top wines.

Bereche et Fils

Founded in 1847, today Raphael & Vincent Bereche carry on the family history with their own unique and talented flair. Largely from vineyards in the Montagne de Reims, today all vineyards are farmed organically and have implemented biodynamic techniques. The results are quite fine, showing world-class finesse and complexity in every bottle. There are roughly equal parts Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier spread out among all of their vineyards.

One facet that sets Bereche wines apart is their dedication to aging under cork; as opposed to crown cap, this allows the wines to receive a small amount of oxygen, resulting in a wine that is far more ready to drink earlier in life, yet still incredibly age-worthy. The brothers have kept in the family's tradition of utilizing a perpetual cuvee for a couple of their bottlings, namely the Reflet d'Antan ("reflections of yesteryear"), which has a reserve dating back to 1985. In recent years, Raphael & Vincent's style has become more apparent even in this cuvee, as it feels fresher, lighter and more defined.
