The 2016 Chassagne-Montrachet La Romanée 1er Cru has a lovely dried honey and white flower scented bouquet with crushed stone notes developing with aeration. The palate is well balanced with mouthwatering salinity, a fine thread of acidity with orange rind and a touch of quince towards the finish. What a sublime expression of this great Premier Cru.
