Bottled in July 2017 and aged entirely in tank, the 2016 IGP Collines Rhodanienne Syrah is one of only two red wines that are destemmed at this domaine. It's light to medium in body, weighing in at only 12% alcohol, but offers complex smoky-herbal aromas, pie cherries and tapenade notes on the palate and a silky, supple texture. Drink it within its first 5 years.

Limpid magenta. Spice-accented cherry and dark berry aromas are complemented by suggestions of violet, olive and cracked pepper. Spicy, energetic and sharply focused on the palate, offering bitter cherry and floral pastille flavors that open up slowly with air. Silky tannins frame the finish, which shows firm closing thrust and good persistence.
