(from Le Rouge du Bas: 100% vendange entier): Medium red. More vibrant on the nose than the estate's village wines, with red fruit and spice aromas joined by distinct mineral notes. Then silky and concentrated in the mouth, but with its red fruit and savory mineral flavors enlivened by pungent notes of blood orange and citrus fruits. Very sexy, approachable wine with good acidity and the texture and depth to support its fine-grained tannins.
