Pale, bright yellow. Pure, backward nose is more precise and higher pitched than the Bâtard, offering scents of tangerine zest, crushed rock and silex minerality. Boasts an uncommon combination of thickness with verve. Not heavy but incredibly opulent in the mouth, with its citrus and fresh herb flavors supported by bracing minerality. A wonderfully intense, seamless wine of terroir, and a step above the other 2015s I tasted at this address. Really superb palate-staining length.
