Vinous

Vinous

90-92

Pale, bright yellow. Complex, vibrant aromas of lemon, lime, menthol, mint, white flowers and crushed rock. Tactile, slightly saline and spicy, with its brisk acidity and underlying minerality giving the fine-grained middle palate a slightly metallic quality. Showing less personality today than the Frionnes but this is very closed. Finishes adamantly dry, stony and austere for 2015, with piquant notes of lemon, lime and minerals. Lamy planned to bottle most of his 2015s in July but may wait another month for this one.
