(100% vendange entier; one-third new oak): Healthy dark red. Complex but reticent aromas of kirsch and blueberry lifted by a floral quality. A bit youthfully withdrawn but lively and polished in the mouth, with a floral perfume that's rare for this drought year. Wonderfully classy, refined Volnay with outstanding subtle sweetness and energy and a very long finish featuring utterly suave tannins. A great young Volnay in the making.
