Jean-Yves Bizot's 2015 Vosne-Romanée Les Jachées is a striking wine, and this bottle's explosive aromas of Indian spices, red berries, violets and cinnamon did much to conceal the fact that it's actually quite closed on the palate. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, this Vosne-Romanée is framed by powdery tannins and concludes with a pungently perfumed finish, but it will need a few more years to reveal the full extent of its textural plenitude.
