(from vines planted on rock with barely a foot of topsoil): Light, bright yellow. Expressive aromas of orchard fruits, flowers and minerals. Lovely spicy, vibrant wine; not hugely fleshy but boasts excellent energy, lift and definition and complicating notes of mint and white pepper. This lovely spicy, soil-driven wine boasts terrific energy and rising length, and full ripeness for a classically dry wine. Despite its early balance, it calls for cellaring. Jobard has three parcels of different ages in Poruzots, with an average age of 35 years.
