The Wine Advocate

Wine Advocate

The 2014 Saint Aubin 1er Cru en Remilly was showing just a touch more reduction than its fellow Saint Aubin, but it dissipates with some rigorous swirling of the glass and develops a pleasant flinty scent. The palate is vibrant and fresh with a touch of granite infusing the citrus fruit, a gentle crescendo here, less linear than its siblings with a dab of freshly cut ginger towards the finish. This should be excellent, though it will need 3-4 years in bottle.
