The 2013 Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Furstentum is a great wine! Exotic fruit aromas on the very clear, precise and quite coolish nose lead to a rich, powerful, complex, highly elegant and subtle palate with a long, piquant and tension-filled, almost dry finish. Very expressive and highly recommend. "Limestone and clay is taming the Gewurztraminer, which is like a wild horse that needs to be ridden," Catherine Faller says.

Bright yellow. Complex, ripe aromas of lime, pineapple, grilled bacon and green peppercorn. Delicately spicy in the mouth, showing a hint of noble rot to its delicate tropical fruit flavors. Finishes clean and long but also a bit sweet.
