Pale, bright yellow. Aromas of pineapple and white peach lifted by a floral topnote and complicated by sexy oak. Smooth, vibrant and fine-grained, with racy acidity energizing the pineapple and dusty mineral flavors. Today this seems as good as the 2010, and perhaps more refined. (The Chassagne-Montrachet Les Macharelles was ripe and tactile but too reduced and leesy to assess with confidence.)
