Good full red. Red berry, truffle and spice aromas show an almost liqueur-like sweetness. Lush, concentrated and sweet, with lovely depth and definition to the red fruit and spice flavors. This charming, rather suave wine really spreads out on the back to saturate the palate. I may even be underestimating this lovely Beaune wine.
