Disgorged a la volée with three grams per liter dosage after tirage on natural cork, the 2008 Millésime Grand Cru is less immediate than the 2007 rendition, unwinding in the glass with aromas of yellow orchard fruit, brioche, honeycomb, mandarin oil and red apple. Full-bodied and fleshy, it's richer and more powerful than the 2007 but also tighter-knit and more introverted, concluding with a long and tangy finish. While the potential is considerable, this will reward additional bottle age.
