Spanning just 0.33 ha and planted in 1960, Coche-Dury's wines are highly esteemed and eagerly sought after, making them among the most famous white Burgundies. The winemaking process is traditional, involving extended lees contact and aging in barrels for 15-22 months. This is hands down of the most ageworthy and collectible White Burgundies on the market. Easily rivals the 89’ and 08’ Corton-Charlemagne.

Vinous

Steely aromas of citrus peel, apple blossom, wet stone and nutmeg; an essence of this grand cru. Wonderfully sweet and rich, gaining breadth and texture as it mounts on the back half. As dense as this is, it's all about energy and verve today. A monumental, utterly complete Corton-Charlemagne that combines extraordinary subtlety and complexity with intense, palate-staining minerality. As long as anything I've tasted from this vintage.
