Deep red-ruby. Deep aromas of cherry, dark berries, violet and minerals. The palate offers uncanny purity, precision and energy for the vintage, with terrific intensity to the dark fruit flavors. Finishes very long, reserved and perfumed, with terrific grip. Very sexy already, but I'd hold it. (My bottle showed a crushed black raspberry quality after 72 hours, and no loss of focus.) An early candidate for wine of the vintage.
