Deep, fresh ruby. More gamey aromas of smoke and coffee. Much tighter in the mouth, and more dominated by its structure. This has already closed up, and thus offers less flesh and pleasure today. But obviously very rich and long. Mortet has five different parcels in this premier cru, planted at various times.
