The Wines

2021 Guffens-Heynen Tinus Chardonnay Plateau de l'Aigle

Where to begin? Jean-Marie Guffens is a icon in the village of the Macon in southern Burgundy. His wines are as classic as they come. We have shared countless stories and glasses with Jean-Marie himself. He is larger than life and we are lucky enough to the be the first American importer for his wines in over 10 years!!

- 100% Chardonnay
- Grapes from his home estate in the Rhone
- Lovely aromatics of bright orchard fruits, lemon and yellow flowers. The palate is refreshing, dry and delightfully acidic

2021 Triennes Rose Var IGP

Who says rose can be drunk all year round. Fun fact, it is one of my go to styles of wine to pair with fish, chicken and other vegetable dishes. It has the body of a light red by the thirst quenching palate of a bright white wine. This rose is made by the producer Domaine des Triennes. Domaine des Triennes is the creation of two of the most respected winemakers in the world (Aubert de Viliane and Jacques Seyesses). Located in Southern France, these wines are playful, elegant and an excellent example of rose.

- Primarily Cinsault, with Grenache, Syrah and Merlot
- Clay and Limestone soils
- Grown biodynamically

2019 Aurelien Verdet Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Le Prieuré

We poured this exact wine at the event. It was such a hit, we wanted to make sure everyone in the group had the ability to enjoy. The Verdet family has been making wine in the region of Burgundy for centuries. They have developed goregous parcels in the area and have been a respected name for quite sometime. Their wines are classic, charismatic and definitely worth a spot next to the holiday ham.

-100% Pinot Noir
-Fruit is from the hillsides of Burgundy
-2019 was an iconic vintage and will age for years to come:)
